The web analyst’s role is to measure and report on all marketing activities, analyze visitors behavior and provide recommendations. Also a web analyst is responsible for your web analytics tool’s proper tracking and set up.
What can I expect from using a web analyst?
A web analyst will help you keep your company on track towards your desired/planned business goals. What improvement can I expect from using a web analyst?
From my experience the first thing you realize is that you gain better accountability and control over your site, marketing and achieve a better understanding of your site visitors’ behavior. Secondly, by acting on your data and testing, you should be able to see a rise in revenue generated from your site by, on average, 10 to 20% a year.
For example, one of my client within 5 months from starting using my services saw an increase in site conversion by 13.39% and email revenue increase by 94%, which in real money equals to an increase in revenue of over $60,000 a month. This was all achieved by running weekly and monthly analytics data reports and acting on them.
What’s the next step after I got my web analyst?
